主讲人介绍：Dr. Anita Simic received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in remote sensing from the University of Toronto, Canada. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Bowling Green State University, Ohio, USA. She has been a guest Editor to the International Journal of Remote Sensing (IJRS), IEEE JSTARS, and Remote Sensing Applications: Society and Environment. Dr. Simic’s research is in the field of remote sensing applications in vegetation science, bioenergy and hydrology with an expertise in applications of multi-angle hyperspectral imagery. Dr. Simic explores the impact of vegetation on the hydrologic balance and groundwater, and the impact of agricultural chemicals on crops and inland water bodies. Dr. Simic published more than forty journal and conference papers, abstracts and reports in top journals such as Remote Sensing of Environment, IEEE TGRS, IEEE JSTARS and IJRS.
