A blowup criterion of spherically symmetric classical solutions for an isentropic model of viscous gas

内 容 介 绍:This talk is a survey of our joint work with Prof. Xiangdi Huang from Chinese Academy of Science on  a blowup criterion of spherically symmetric classical solutions to an initial boundary value problem on a ball for an isentropic model system of viscous gas. For smooth initial data away from vacuum, it is proved that the classical solution which is spherically symmetric loses its regularity in a finite time if and only if the density blows up in the infinitesimally small neighborhood of the center in the Lagrangian mass coordinate system.We also make some remarks on an ideal polytropic model system of viscous and heat-conductive gas.
