拓扑量子场论和几何不变量

内 容 介 绍:During last thirty years, the development of quantum field theory and string theory has generated a new wave of interactions between physics and mathematics. In the process, it revolutionized several subjects of mathematics. For examples, a large portion of Fields medalist during last thirty years have their main works in these subjects. A core object of "new" math-physics is the notion of topological quantum field theory (TQFT). It directly leaded to several powerful new geometric invariants in mathematics such as Seiberg-Witten invariants, Gromov-Witten invariants and FJRW-invariants. TQFT itself was motivated by an early invariant-Donaldson invariants. In the talk, we focus on so called "cohomological TQFT". We will use topological sigma model as an example to show how to obtain a TQFT from the twisting. Then, we will shift to its mathematical counterpart-Gromov-Witten invariants. We will close the talk by discussing a closely related invariants FJRW-invariants which arises from topological Landau-Ginzburg model.
