Nonlinear Asymptotic Stability of the Lane-Emden Solution for the Viscous Gaseous Stars

摘    要: In this talk I will present some recent results on the dynamical motion of a compactly-supported viscous compressible fluids moving into vacuum,  the so called viscous gaseous star problem. Such a phenomena is governed by a free boundary value problem for the compressible Navier-Stokes-Poisson equations. In particular, we will prove the nonlinear asymptotic stability of the Lane-Emden solutions which are stationary radial symmetric solutions with compact support and so called physical singularities. Some new nonlinear functionals will be introduced to over the difficulties of degeneracies and nonlinearities. This is a joint work with Tao Luo and Huihui Zeng.
