On generalized cohomology theories in different categories and cobordism

摘 要： Quillen and Levine-Morel studied cobordism in complex and algebraic setting. Following their ideas, we can define oriented cohomology theories on the category of Deligne-Mumford stacks over a ground field. By using extension of scalars and theorems of Riemann-Roch type, we find a universal theory with rational coefficients on a subcategory in characteristic zero, which can be viewed as a kind of cobordism.
