摘要：What do Desargues' theorem, discriminant expressions such that b^2-4ac or 4p^3+27q^2, Kowalewskaia's top, the Euler integral of the two fixed centers problem, the P_{12} family of 3-body solutions, have in common ? In each case, it is by penetrating into another dimension and then projecting or cutting that one is able to discover a previously hidden simplicity.
