There have been increasing interests in metamaterials in the past few years in the scientific communities. With the rapid development in this area, more and more interesting devices have been proposed based on metamaterials. In this talk, we will briefly introduce some typical applications of metamaterials in microwave region in Southeast University.

个人简介：

Qiang Cheng received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China in 2008. Then he joined the Department of Radio Engineering, Southeast University, where he is currently the young distinguished professor in Southeast University. His research interests include engineered lectromagnetic structures (metamaterials, electromagnetic band-gap materials, frequency selective surfaces), microwave imaging, and milimeter/THz circuits.
