Supporting Teaching and Learning Through Classroom Assessment

讲座内容:Research on the assessment (including testing) practices of teachers has revealed that the day-to-day assessment of student learning is unquestionably one of the teacher’s most demanding, complex and important tasks. Therefore, teachers, as the agents of assessment, need to ensure the validity and reliability of their classroom assessment practices and need to use these practices in ways that support their students’ learning. The synergy of assessment for learning punctuated with the use of assessment of learning is the best way to support student learning. This interactive lecture involves teachers in understanding major components of classroom assessment, discussing models of learning, and exploring their methods and procedures in relation to their purposes of assessment.
主讲人简介:
程李颖,现任加拿大女王大学教育学院终身教授和博士生导师, 主要致力于语言测试的研究,在国际学术界广受认可。 程李颖教授迄今已出版学术专著5部,在语言测试领域国际顶级学术期刊发表论文100余篇,并同时在多个国际性学术杂志担任编委和评审,包括:Language Testing,Language Assessment
Quarterly,International Journal of Testing,并担任Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL)顾问和Test Review Editor for Language Testing编辑。她研究的课题主要包括大规模测试对教育的影响,课堂评估与教学的关系,关于来自世界各地移民到加拿大的学生和专业人才在学术上和专业技能上的文化适应。
