摘  要：The experimental successes in making ultracold dipolar atomic and molecular gases have stimulated tremendous interest in studying the dipolar effects in quantum gases. The long-range and anisotropic nature of the dipole-dipole interaction gives rise to a rich variety of quantum phases. In this talk, I will present some theoretical results on the ground states and dynamics of ultracold dipolar Bose and Fermi gases.

简历：主要从事原子分子物理和量子光学以及量子信息和计算等领域的研究。2002年5月在美国佐治亚理工学院获得博士学位，此后分别在美国的佐治亚理工学院和莱斯大学从事博士后研究工作。2005年10月获中国科学院“百人计划”支持加入中国科学院理论物理研究所任研究员，2010年获国家杰出青年基金资助。
