摘  要：In this talk we will discuss the asymptotic equidistribution of Jacobi sums over finite fields. Nicholas Katz and Zhiyong Zheng showed that the Jacobi sums of two characters are equidistributed. We show a similar property for Jacobi sums of finitely many characters. More generally, the result is still true when the characters run through large subsets. The case of two characters answers a question of Shparlinski. This is joint work with Weizhe Zheng and Zhiyong Zheng.
