摘   要: The link of an isolated singularity of a complex space is a very nice example of a compact differentiable manifold. Milnor was interested in it because he obtained in this way examples of topological spheres with exotic differentiable structures. We will focus on cohomological invariants of the pair (M,K) where M is the link of an isolated singularity and K the link of the zero set of a holomorphic function on it. We review several approaches to relate the topology of this pair of links with invariants of the singularity and of its Milnor fibre.
