主讲人介绍:Guy Bertrand 教授,欧洲科学院和法国科学院院士,现任University of California, San Diego(UCSD)杰出教授,兼任该校与法国国家科学研究院联合实验室(CNRS)主任。同时担任Chemical Reviews期刊副主编,曾获ACS Award in Inorganic Chemistry,RSC Sir Geoffrey Wilkinson Award等多种重要国际荣誉。Guy Bertrand教授长期从事卡宾和氮烯的主族元素和过渡元素的金属有机化学,迄今在Science,Nature Chemistry,Nature Catalysis, JACS,ACIE等期刊上发表论文达200余篇。
内 容 简 介:The preparation, structure and electronic properties of novel families of stable carbenes, including six-membered cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbenes, bicyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbenes, and even mono-substituted carbenes will be discussed. It will be shown that the peculiar electronic and steric properties of these carbenes (CAACs) allow for the stabilization of unusual diamagnetic and paramagnetic transition metals and main group element species. We will also show that these carbenes allow for the isolation of catalytically active complexes, which were supposed to be onlytransient intermediates. Among them, bis(copper) complexes involved in the very popular CuAAC reaction (Click Chemistry) will be discussed. We will show that this discovery allows for the development of novel catalytic transformations.
