主讲人介绍：Jean-Louis COATRIEUX教授，IEEE Fellow，外专“ ”入选者，先后获IEEE第三个千年奖、IEEE终身成就奖、中国“国家友谊奖”。2011年入选中国教育部“海外名师”，2013年获“江苏省友谊奖”。

Jean-Louis COATRIEUX教授是国际生物医学工程领域享有盛誉的专家，任法国国家健康与医学研究院（INSERM）主任研究员，美国New Jersey Institute of Technology兼职教授，法国布列塔尼高等电讯学校教授(Telcom de Bretagne)，东南大学名誉教授。他长期从事图像和信号处理、模式识别、复杂系统建模和计算机辅助医学诊疗技术等领域的研究工作，在国际学术刊物和国际学术会议上发表论文三百余篇，任IEEE EMBS学会副主席、IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering主编等。

Major advances in medicine have been made over the last decades regarding medical imaging, signal processing and information processing as well as sensing and actuating devices, either implantable or not. Today, the most recent fashion is focused on deep learning, big data and artificial intelligence. Although such topics are capable to bring new cues on large data and systems, other ones should be considered as well. This talk deals with one of them: modeling and simulation of complex systems. They both require an interdisciplinary approach to fulfill their objectives of improved diagnosis and therapy.
